Lucie Memba is on the rise!

The famous actress  took home the Kinky Soul Award in Douala on November 30 for literally staying true to her natural self.

The “Defying the Sixth” star revealed the news on Facebook as she posted pictures of her big Night at Bonamousadi, Douala rocking a simple yet elegant white fitted gown by MASS and of course her natural locks.

Memba doesn’t just have a Kinky Soul Award to celebrate. The actress has also picked up the “Best Actress” nomination at the 2017 Trophees Francophone du Cinema Awards for the film “La Partrie D’Abord”, a movie she stars and co-produces with actor, Thierry Ntamack.

The film got six nominations including: Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Movie of the Year.
