Makon pays tribute to women in new song “Fine Girl”

They say he looks like Akon and there’s no doubt about that but this Cameroonian singer, Makon has other features which are humbling to the women folk – His messages!

Makon has dropped his new hit “Fine Girl” after a long time and he says its all about his love, loyalty and respect for women: be it his mom, sisters or his girl friends.

“I respect and love women. They play a big and vital role to us men and to the society,” Makon explains to us. “My song, ‘Fine Girl’ is a simple song which celebrates women around the world and it just tells or reminds them of how important they are to me and to other men and that we are grateful they exist.”

Fine Girl video

The video for “Fine Girl” is out and shows Makon appreciating his woman (in the video) as he tries to treat her like the queen that she is. It is a colorful video, full of life, laugh and love and values a genuine relationship built by two people.

“I want women, both young and old, to feel beautiful because they are. No one has the right to tell a woman otherwise. They are a powerful tool to any man’s being. While we should appreciate them more, women also have to be good and respectful to themselves,” says the singer.

“Fine Girl” was produced by Magic Finger, mixed/mastered by Akwandor ‘Blaise B’ and the video is directed by Dr. Nkeng Stephens.
