Cameroonian singer Makon is off to Côte D’Ivoire to meet his look-alike Akon.

The singer, who recently dropped his new single “Fine Girl” landed in Abidjan (Côte D’Ivoire’s major urban center) on December 20 ahead of his epic meeting.

“He [Makon] is looking forward to meet his icon, Akon during this visit to the French African country. He has always wanted to meet Akon since they both look like brothers [lol],” Makon‘s rep tells us exclusively.

Makon is expected to share the same stage with Akon at a concert organised by the multiple award winning Senegalese-born superstar in Abidjan this weekend.

“He will be performing some of his songs at that concert and besides meeting Akon, he also wants to do some networking and experience new things,” says his rep.

Makon will be in Côte D’Ivoire for five days. We wish him all the very best.
