The beauty queen, who took the Miss North West 2019 title, has been crowned Miss Cameroun 2020 in a grand ceremony in Yaounde, Cameroon on December 28.
Audrey Monkam beat five other beauty queens to take home the prestigious crown after five sessions of proving her worth and capabilities of owning the victory spot.
Audrey’s five runner ups include; Miss Littoral (Duchess Irene Kolle), Miss South West (Adamma Bazil), Miss Centre (Charline Stephanie Nkoa Amougou), Miss South West 1st Runner Up (Rose-Noella Moyou Arrey) and finally, Miss Cameroon Canada (Marguerite Dieunie Kilama).
The 24 year old Niki Heat model has a degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Buea and says, as Miss Cameroun 2020, she plans to use her new status to advocate for education for all.
According to the 1.80m tall model, without education there will be a rise of a society with no future and hence, no development nor growth.
