The singer and performer has released a song titled “Beautiful” –  a strong message to women suffering from low self-esteem, inferiority complex and/or ashamed of how they look.

“Yes it’s my story. It’s my true story… It’s also a song to women, for girls… You know…  If you are a nobody yet or you are still working, people don’t really see or tell you are beautiful. But when you start making money, people start telling you are beautiful. Women have to know that no matter what they should know  they are beautiful and be confident in themselves,

“Its also a song for people who pursue their dreams you need to be strong to pursue your dreams. you should know people will not always be there but you have to keep pushing,” Mel B tells us.

The singer’s advice to young women is always believe, focus and work hard to achieve greatness. She admits she uses her music to inspire other young women just as she’s using the song, “Beautiful” to uplift ladies feeling left out or less confident.

“I will tell them to have a positive dream.  They should aspire to achieve. You can be as beautiful on the face, bootilicious or busty, that doesn’t mean you will achieve your life goals. You have to trust in God Almighty and work really hard. As a woman you should have a dream and work to achieve it after all, nowadays there is what we call ‘Woman Empowerment’, all the same, I don’t advice women to try to take the place of a man. God made the man the head and so shall it be till the end of time,” Mel explains.
