Wilson Nyah, co-founder of Niki Heat Makeup Academy says the idea of creating a forum to train makeup artists in Cameroon comes from the multiple requests the company has received from young men and women over a year who truly want to make a living from practicing makeup.

He adds that “it’s also important for young people in Cameroon to be able to use their hands and be creative while earning wages from their talent. Makeup is no more a taboo especially in Africa. There are very successful makeup artists in the world and even in Cameroon today so we just want to take raw talents and make them more lucrative.”
