Beauty, elegance and style are all we see in these stunning pictures from Cameroonian actress and model, Nora Ndem as she celebrates her birthday today, April 4.

The famously dark skin ‘Merry Men’ movie star is out to slay as she adds another year. Nora Ndem appears as a golden goddess while channelling her inner Nubian spirit by the seaside in new new birthday pictures by Samson Ime Wilson for iRise Photos.

Nora teams up with Cameroonian celebrity makeup artist, Corine Lastar to give her that touch of an African… oops!… Wakanda Queen.

Makeup artist Corine Lastar insists GOLD better describes the actress, Nora Ndem

Corine Lastar choses the perfect makeup, fit for a melanin popping sister! She keeps Nora‘s lips nude but focuses on giving her eyes a predominantly golden flavour, with a touch of wine red. The actress’ cheeks keeps her face glowing as the highlight is visible under the sun.

“Gold stands for freshness, happiness, positivity, clarity, energy, optimism, enlightenment, remembrance, intellect, honor, loyalty, and joy,” says the popular makeup artist. Adding that, “These are some of the characteristics I see in Nora”.

Nora is styled in a golden dress by Alero which features a creamy sheer top and a huge satin wrap at the bottom. The model adds a pretty golden belt to accentuate her waistline but its her massive golden headpiece which draws all the attention. Is she going for a Beyonce look with this one?

“I went for a gold color because Gold stands for extravagance, wealth, riches and excess. The color Gold is a worm color and is also associated with illumination , love, compassion, courage, magic and wisdom. God is precious metal that is associated with wealth, grandeur and all of these you see them in Nora,” explains the designer, Alero.

The concept of the shoot is by Corine LaStar.
