Rita Dominic’s signature hairstyle dominates AMVCA 2018 red carpet

The beauty scene at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) is typically nothing less of dramatic, excitement and interesting, but stars turned down the dial this year.

Nollywood superstar, Rita Dominic clearly inspired more than half of the hairstyles we saw at this year’s movie event, held in Lagos on September 1.

Despite the presence of other gorgeous hairdos, the actress’ signature pull back hairstyle was seen on multiple stars at the #AMVCA2018 red carpet. Just like Dominic, the ladies traded the big, bold and crazy hairstyles for a more subtle one, which took all the hair off their faces and left the attention on their beautiful makeup.

Dominic always takes our collective breath away with each look on the red carpet but her predictable hairstyle never seems to disappoint. The actress has featured on most best dressed and beauty lists than we can possibly count and that’s simply because she allows her body features to shine for the cameras: a beautifully face, glowing skin, perfect shoulders, dangerous curves, smokey eyes, sexy fingernails and so many more.

At this year’s event, Dominic showed up on the red carpet in a blue custom Tubo ‘Her Form’ 2018 Collection which the designer explained that, “She [Dominic] knew EXACTLY what she wanted. As soon as she set her eyes on the HeyFey dress from #herformbytubo, she knew this was her #amvca2018 dress and NOBODY would talk her out of it.”

Because her dress had all the drama, once again, the actress opted for a sleek dark ponytail hairstyle. A choice which perfectly brought out her blue eye shadow paired with a pale pink lip and flawless skin. Her nude makeup was done by makeup artist, Doranne Beauty.

The result was a gorgeous and interesting take on an otherwise simple red carpet look.
