Samsung set to announce Galaxy S9 on February 25th

Samsung has officially announced the long awaited Galaxy S9 smartphone scheduled to be release at a special event at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 25th.

According to reports, Samsung would focus on the new phone’s camera features. But earlier leaks indicate that the S9 might be very similar to the S8 in terms of both designs and specifications.

In a statement, Samsung says, “If a picture is worth a thousand words, the latest member of the Galaxy family has a lot to say.”

On February 25, Samsung Electronics is expected to showcase the next generation of its Galaxy devices that re-imagines the camera and redefines the way you share your moments. The “super slow-motion” and “super speed” for the rear camera are some of the updates on the S9.

However, there’s one big question on everybody’s mind; “Is the Galaxy S9 Copied from Apple’s iPhone X?“.

Earlier this month, PatentlyApple.com posted a report titled, “Samsung reveals that their new Galaxy S9 Processor will Deliver Apple-Like Face ID and Neural Network Features,” which covered Samsung’s latest processor which will introduce a Face ID copycat feature and more. This site strongly argues the Samsung Galaxy S9 is a copycat of the iPhone X.

Whatever the case, we would definitely Dcode all these leaks and speculations when the S9 is officially unveiled on February 25th in Barcelona, so stay tuned.
