In a post on Facebook, Senior Pastor explains that the entire initiative is to make the world a better place through laughter.

“It will be a rare opportunity for us to take a show to prison and do a free show for the prisoners in order to make the inmates laugh and reduce their depression and sorrow and above all, give them hope… and because these inmates do not have the opportunity to come attend our shows outside,” says Senior Pastor.

The funny man also announced that the ‘Comedy Goes to Prison’ show will also conduct a comedy talent hunt on February 28 where he would select three of the inmates who have the talent to make people laugh to now perform at the ‘Laugh With Inmates’ concert at the same venue in Buea.

“Who knows, we could find the next Basketmouth, AY, Gordons… why not Senior Pastor come out of prison. This will also serve as us platform for us to give back to the needy,” the comedian says.

‘Laugh With Inmates’ comedy show takes place on Wednesday, March 7 at the Buea central prison.
