On average, more than one woman per week is killed in Cameroon as a result of violence or rape. But despite living with this constant threat of brutality, local male hip-hop artists are using their music to try to change attitudes.

The Stop Violence Against Women campaign is a project which stands for the right of women and girls to live without being violated in any form.

According to Minou Chyrs-Tayl, founder of the Stop Violence Against Women campaign, killing of women is a crime not a passion and has to be stopped by all means possible.

The latest campaign involves stars like Stanley Enow, Tenor, Nabil4Real, Charlotte Dipanda, Laura Dave, Alain Ngann, the Alpha Better Records stars and many others.
