It took only a few hours into the New Year for the Cameroon entertainment industry to witness its first major social media battle; between popular singer, Tzy Panchak and a local Disk Jockey called DeeJay Bisou.

Early January 1, DeeJay Bisou dropped a bomb on social media accusing Tzy Panchak of being an ungrateful artist. He went on to call the ‘Stay With Me’ singer a mad man, a fool and an artist who doesn’t respect local DJs.

Tzy Panchak later responded to DeeJay Bisou with a subtle clapback of his own explaining that the reason he might have disrespected the local DJ was because he played more foreign music at the club… even in the presence of Cameroonian urban artists. The singer said its wrong for local DJs to focus on Nigerian or Ghanaian songs when they should be promoting local content in the country.

The singer received massive support from music fans who joined him in calling our local DJs who rather support foreign music than local tracks.
