Tzy Panchak, Mola Mongombe telling good love stories with music

Tzy Panchak and Mola Mongombe are making fans believe in love again by telling lovely stories in their recently released music videos.

Both Cameroonian singers are using their music videos to emphasize on the power of love and why there’s a need to follow your heart when it comes to choosing a life partner, baby mama/daddy or a date.

Their messages of love, trust and perseverance in relationships indeed reminds this generation that true love does exist, depending how you want to show it, consume it and maintain it.

Tzy Panchak also dropped the visuals of his new single, ‘Apart’ on July 1 and it tells an intriguing ‘Bonnie & Clyde’ love story of a couple-in-crime who commit robbery and are later robbed by another gang on the same day. The singer also went as far as touching on the topic of rape, after one of the robbers raped his girl (played by Blessing Obiora) and left her pregnant. Should he continue to date his girlfriend  who is pregnant for a thief and after losing all they have?

The Mister Adrenaline directed video is crisp, contemporary and filled with drama. It’s like watching an action movie slash a romantic comedy. Attention was paid on the details, right down to the costuming. Every character did well, making the event seem believable and bringing out the power of love and forgiveness when Tzy goes back to become the father of the child he had through a disgusting incident.

Mola Mongombe is a Jazz artist signed to Groove Entertainment and hails from the Bakweri tribe in the South West Regions. His recently released video, ‘Endale’, tells a captivating love story of a young village boy who falls head over hills for his village girlfriend but can’t pursue that love unless he can prove his responsibility to his in-laws. He’s forced to travel to the city where he gets a good job and comes back to the village to marry his bae.

Yes, it’s a familiar story but it’s the way he delivers that story  through his lyrics which makes it moving, thrilling and enjoyable to listen and watch. The video is directed by Enow Walters, who made sure it became a simple tale, filled with emotions and can me remembered through the rawness of its characters and environment.

Using his native language, Bakweri, Mongombe, delivers a perfect blend of his grooving vocals with a modern day tune which reenacts the nostalgic voices of great Jazz singers like Henry Dikongue and Richard Bona.

Mola Mongombe is all about the #NjorkuJazz, a brand of music he says should represent the Mokpe land, yet should speak to others all across the world.
