Kylie Jenner and actress, Blake Lively almost rocked a similar look to the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) on Monday, August 20. Although both stars were in white, they stole the spotlight in different ways. So, whose look would you rather copy?
Surely, one of the biggest fashion faux-pas fears for any Hollywood A-lister is to wear the same look as another star to the same event. It was almost the case for the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ reality TV star, Kylie Jenner and the former ‘Gossip Girl’ actress, Blake Lively at the VMAs, Monday night in NYC.
Kylie showed up to the pink carpet in a short white super hot Tom Ford blazer and Olgana Paris silver colored heels.To keep all eyes on her dress, the mother of one decided to pull her blonde hair all back and allowed her non-filler lips to shine in a simple pink Kylie Cosmetics lip gloss. But the question is, did she forget her pants!?
Speaking of pants, actress Lively sure didn’t leave hers at home. The mom of two killed the fashion game at this year’s VMAs in a classic white masculine Ralph & Russo Autumn Winter 2018 couture silk crepe suit. Her iconic look featured wide leg trousers with sun ray pleated silk double satin panels and a well-tailored blazer graced with a sheer chain-mail collar and jeweled crystal buttons.
Just like Kylie, the actress made sure to keep all eyes on her outfit as she also pulled her long golden colored locks to the back allowing her subtle make up to game some fame too.
Both stars went light on the jewelry.. rocking no necklaces but multiple silver rings on their fingers. Kylie even posted her well accessorized hands on her Instagram thanking her jeweler for blessing her night.
Well, besides Kylie and Lively, other Hollywood stars showed up at the #vmas2018 pink carpet in white.
