‘Ward Zee’ cast shines at red carpet for Buea premiere

Itambi Delphine’s most anticipated thriller, ‘Ward Zee’ has finally gone public with its major premiere in Buea on Sunday, June 24.

Stars of the true life directorial by Delphine walked the red carpet at the Mountain Hotel in Buea which included a rich cast made up of Anurine Nwunembom, Libota McDonald, Charlotte Gobina, Laura Onyama, Damaris Ndamo and many others

Cameroonian singer Mr. Leo also graced the premiere to show his support to the Ward Zee’s team.

The female lead stars of the film, Charlotte Gobina, Damaris Ndamo and Laura Onyama turned all eyes towards them as they rocked the red carpet, with all three dazzling in signature Mareta West couture gowns.

As for the male cast, it was all about wearing Cameroonian designs. Anurine showed up in a Fabric Doctor outfit while Libota went for a suit and Lynno Lovert chose to rock a Julliet Sparcs classic.

The new film encircles a woman whose baby is stolen from a hospital ward after child birth and sold to a couple who had no children. The new mom loses everything, including her marriage in the course of finding her missing baby.

According to the film’s director, Itambi, ‘Ward Zee’ is a film close to her heart as it tells a true story and similar situations happening in Cameroon.

After been premiered in Buea, the film is expected to be screened in other cities across the country this year.
