Charlotte Dipanda’s latest photos with a mystery lady has caused a social media frenzy Wednesday morning, June 14. With many people alleging that the singer could be a lesbian. But now, we have found the mystery lady’s true identity!

A series of pictures showing the Cameroonian singer in compromising positions with her ‘lady friend’ plunged the singer’s sexuality into a question by her fans and other music lovers.

Fans too to social media calling Dipanda gay and/or lesbian thanks to one of the pictures which shows her receiving a kiss on the forehead by the mysterious woman.

Despite the pictures and social media accusations, our inside source tells us Charlotte Dipanda is not a lesbian because the woman in those pictures is a family relative.

“She is Charlotte’s cousin even though she mostly refers to her as a sister,” our source tells us. “Her name is Patricia Essombe and she used to work for Charlotte as a PR some few years ago. She’s usually around her and acts now like her assistant,” our source concludes.

Dipanda has often times snubbed questions about her relationship status but in December 2016, the singer told The Voice Afrique Froncophone

“All married people I know are unhappy… This is just to tell you that to me, marriage as you define it is not an objective in life neither is it something that disturbs my sleep at night,” Dipanda said.
