The Cameroon Fashion Award (CFA) has unveiled its full list of nomination categories which includes best designers, models, photographers, fashion bloggers, TV journalists, stylists, fashion magazines, most stylish celebrities, best costumed music video/movie and an honorary award.

After the success of the FIAFA Fashion Show in Buea few months back, its time to award the shakers and doers in the Cameroon fashion industry and Fredash Entertainment will be organizing the very first edition of this annual fashion event.

Its goal is to curb youth delinquency, educate youths on gender and sexual orientation as well as economic related aspects. It will also act as an avenue for future professional models, designers, stylists and makeup artists to network and grow.

“We are creating both temporary and permanent employment for youths. We also aim to bring out creativity through new designs, new make-up patterns and new photo focuses,” says Alfred Nemfor, CEO of Fredash Entertainment.

CFA is an award which promises to become phenomenal in Cameroon and could be ranked among the best events in the country because of its style, elegance and level of professionalism. This event is aimed to bring together at least 1000 persons including economic operators, top administrative authorities, students from universities across the country and other institutions, media outfits and stakeholders of cultural, tourism, magazines and the entertainment industry.

“Our goals have been achieved in the past years with a huge positive remark. We run with the objectives of empowering the youths in Cameroon by creating workshops and organizing cultural and entertainment events for young designers, models, photographers, artists and craftsmen/craftswomen to become professionals,” adds Nemfor.

Cameroon Fashion Award is scheduled to hold in November 2017.
