Syndy Emade looks completely unrecognisable as she plays an impoverished village young girl in a new film titled, “Virgin Blade”.

The “A Man For The Weekend” actress and producer looks to have abandoned her expensive wigs and usual beauty to transform herself into a young poor woman as she films in a mystery village in the country.

“Away from all the comfort and no internet in that village and we remained focused and determined for 14 days,” Emade revealed in a post on her Facebook page.

The actress’ trademark flawless skin and always perfect hair-do have all gone as she is seen wearing dirty clothes and been battered and violated by young men in the rural area.

“2018 started off good but I almost gave up on this shoot because it was so much of a challenge for me.Thank God I pulled through especially as I was working with talents like Epule Jeff and Nchifor Valery,” the actress explained further.

Syndy is usually known for playing the “pretty” roles away from remote villages. She is again usually seen as the “porch” actress; enjoying the city life, romantic affairs with the hottest movie characters and rocking some of the best costumes on set. But in “Virgin Blade,”  the actress is a complete opposite to everything we just mentioned.

Syndy looks malnourished, unkempt, stupidly poor and desperate and can’t seem to find love anywhere… But could this be a true characterization of an actor ready to do her job!
