Popular radio host, Nabil4Real is giving no room for anyone to disrespect his brand, not even young rapper, Skidi Boy.

The Nabstar Radio host came for Skidi Boy on Facebook, July 5 when the ‘Nanga Mboko’ hit maker blamed the lack of songs popularity in Cameroon on the lack of influential media personalities.

Instead, Skidi Boy mentioned the likes of President Tchop Tchop and Brice Albin as the most influential media personalities in the country… something which didn’t sit well with Nabil4Real.

“Some of y’all complain about francophones receiving ,embracing and singing Naija song than ours. Well it’s simple the power of the market(population) has a role to play eg if Wizkid drops a song and it’s being played in the whole of Lagos it means the song can be played in half of Africa on the other hand the power of our music market can’t contaminate the francophones market .firstly we have little or no influential media personalities on like the President Chop Chops, Brice Albins etc. Lesson to take. Artists adding French to their lyrics are SMART . We are talented .get smart and make things happen,” writes Skidi Boy.

It took Nabil an hour to fire back at the rapper telling him its disrespectful for Skidi Boy to ignore the efforts of media houses like his show, Nabstar Radio which support rising artists like Skidi with no reward. He even went on to mention that Brice Albin has no current  radio or TV show at the moment which promotes Cameroonian musicians.

BROADCASTING ON TV RADIO AND ONLINE APPS, REACHING OUT TO THE WORLD, I BET THE DOPEST SHOW YOU BABA HAVE ATTENDED, HOW DO U EXPECT SOMEONE LIKE MYSELF WHO IS CREATING A CREDIBLE PLATFORM FOR ARTIST LIKE YOU AND ALL THOSE WHO LOOKING FOR A LOCAL ALTERNATIVE FOR TRACE THEY CAN’T GET ON (that they really don’t even need) AND FREEDOM TO EXPRESS YOUR ART IN ANY LANGUAGE U COMFORTABLE WITH AND STILL GET MEDIA TIME ON A CREDIBLE PLATFORM? HOW THEN DO U EXPECT US TO RESPECT YOUR ART AND TAKE YOU SERIOUSLY?

GUY, MAKE YA POINT ITS OK BUT CHANGE STARTS WITH US. U CALLING BRICE WHO DOESN’T EVEN HAVE A RADIO SHOW AT THIS MOMENT. PURE INFERIORITY COMPLEX.. SAME THING THAT MAKES ARTIST THINK THEY MUST SING IN FRENCH INSTEAD OF SEE THE FACT THAT AS A BILINGUAL COUNTRY, IT’S AN ADVANTAGE TO SING IN BOTH TO CONQUER AFRICA AND THE WORLD.

THIS IS TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL TO A BRAND LIKE Nabstar Radio THAT’S BEEN SUPPORTING YOU. GO ASK THE MEDIA MAJOR HEADS U CALLED ABOUT OUR VERY OWN NABIL AND THEY WILL TELL YOU. LOOK NO FURTHER. U BE DON MAN .. USE YA SABI WHEN U TALK BABA .
